Women of St. Luke – Connecting Women with Christ and Each Other
There are multiple ways to connect with the women of St. Luke for study, prayer, fellowship and service. Opportunities are listed below and all are invited to be a part of any of the gatherings or events.
Women’s Breakfast Bible Study
Tuesdays, 7:00am, Upper Shalom Center, St. Luke Lutheran Church
If you are interested in an in-depth Bible study, and wonderful fellowship in a relaxed and welcoming environment, then come and enjoy. Gather with some great women over a delicious breakfast, then journey together from Genesis to Revelation.
The women’s circles strive to provide meaningful activities for growth in the spiritual and social aspects of our lives. All women, all generations are welcome! It is not necessary to be a member of St. Luke or belong to one of the circles to participate – contact the church office for information about the locations of each meeting.

Our Purpose Statement:
As a community of women created in the image of God, called to discipleship in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to grow in faith, affirm our gifts, support one another in our callings, engage in ministry and action, and promote healing and wholeness in the church, the society, and the world.
Our Mission Statement:
To mobilize women to act boldly on their faith in Jesus Christ.
All St. Luke women also are members of Women of St. Luke. Circle chairpersons serve as board members and two members-at-large also serve on the board. Board meetings are held the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 9:30am in the Upper Shalom. All women are invited to attend.
Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church
Women of St. Luke is part of the larger church organization, WELCA (Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church) through use of program materials, participation at events, and monetary support.
The symbol—with the cross, water and a white lily—identifies the women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America as children of God; baptized, forgiven, adopted into God’s family, full of grace and hope in eternal life. It is a reminder of the growth, beauty, and vitality that rises out of that life-giving baptismal water. It is also a reminder of the mission of the church to “Go, therefore, make disciples of all nations; baptize them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 28:19).
