Children’s Ministry offers different Sunday options:
9:15 a.m. - Children's Church (Pre-K-5th Grade)
We will lead children out of worship for a brief children’s church during the sermon and return them in time for communion with their families
10:30 a.m. - Educational Hour

Sunday School
Growing and learning in faith is part of the call of all disciples of Jesus. Our Sunday School reflects that belief with meaningful (and fun!) intergenerational community gatherings, using the powerful Godly Play curriculum.

Middle School Ministries
Seeking to immerse Middle Schoolers in the Love of God
Confirmation is an important step on the journey of faith and an affirmation of baptism. Youth and parents share in a three year journey exploring faith, worship, and life together. We are lead by our pastors and a team of totally awesome mentors and teachers. Additionally regular fellowship experiences and service projects strengthen our connection with each other, the church and the world.
Ages: Grades 6-8
Time: Sundays, 10:30-11:30 a.m., plus 2-3 retreats

SLY - St. Luke Youth
SLY is the name of our group for high school students at St. Luke. All are invited to come be a part of the transformational group who are learning how to love, care for each other, pray for life’s realities, and get dirty in service—doing God’s work in our world.
Sunday mornings are a time to check in with each other, and share a time of learning and fellowship. We also have periodic fun activities, including yearly summer trips. Come and check us out!

Nursery Care
Ages: Birth – 5 years
Sundays: 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Children are loved and cared for by a team of dedicated parent volunteers, led by a preschool teacher.
Note: A lactation room is available adjacent to the nursery.

Godly Play
Children’s Ministry at St. Luke Lutheran provides children a foundation in Christian faith. Through multi-disciplinary avenues, children are accompanied by a team of dedicated and skilled volunteers to discover God’s love is everywhere: in the pockets of service, stories, crafts, and community gathering. The telling of stories, though as old as time itself, through the Godly Play methodology taught by trained teachers passes down the old sacred texts while giving a new modern way for children to access and process their spiritual wondering. It does not teach them what to take from the story, rather it invites them to find themselves in the story, adding their voices to the narrative. By providing a safe space to revel in the mystery as much as the message, we believe that this practice develops ownership and agency in curiosity, the doorway through which individual spirituality with Christian language and framework is fostered.
