Position
● Permanent, Part-Time
● Approximately 10–12 hours/week (less than 20 hours/week)
● All scheduled hours worked on-site
● Flexible start, ideally by late August 2026
Training, Experience & Skills Needed
● Proficiency in organ and piano
● Strong sight-reading and accompanying skills
● Experience accompanying choirs, soloists, and congregational singing
● Collaborative, flexible, and dependable
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills
● Church music/liturgical experience preferred
● Music degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
Primary Responsibilities
● Play organ and/or piano for Sunday worship
● Accompany the Rejoice Choir and Modern Worship Team
● Prepare service music (preludes, hymns, offertories, postludes, liturgy)
● Accompany soloists, ensembles, and seasonal concerts
● Play for Holy Week, Advent, Christmas, and other special services
● Reports to and coordinates with the Director of Music Ministries
● Weddings and funerals available for additional compensation
Instruments
● Rodgers Trillium 967 three-manual digital organ
● Steinway grand piano (Sanctuary)
● Additional grand and upright pianos
● Harpsichord
Pay
● $35–40/hour, depending on training and experience
● Additional compensation for weddings, funerals, and approved special services
